How to be a vendor

To join you will need to:

Fill out the form below
Upon confirmation that you have been selected as a vendor we will send you an email with instructions on how to:
- Pay your booth fee
- Submit your Damage Guarantee form (required by venue for all)
- Submit your catering authorization form (required by venue for food vendors who will be cooking on site)

FOOD FESTIVAL: Food trucks and vendors who will be cooking

The Food Festival is in full sunlight and you will need to bring your own tents, tables, and extension cords (min 100 ft)
Food Festival spaces are sized according to vendor needs
There is a large shaded picnic area for guests to enjoy their food.
The venue requires you to provide grease resistant floor mats, cardboard, or plastic to place underneath cooking equipment

PERFORMANCE COURTYARD: Drinks + desserts/Wellness experts

MAKERS MARKET: retail vendors + NGOs will be in the indoor ballroom

Indoor and Performance Courtyard booths are either 8x8 or 10x10 feet
We will provide one 8-foot or 10-foot table and two chairs (tablecloth not provided)
Vendors wishing to have more tables/space must indicate in the application below- additional fees apply

We encourage you to make your booth as attractive as possible
Please note the venue does not allow anything to be hung on the interior or exterior walls, candles, and fog machines
All booth placement and size are assigned in advance by the organizers. You can let us know if you have any special needs in the application below.
We will inform you of your booth location and size one week before the event

After April 15: $125
Non-profit orgs are exempt from fees

Empowerment grant

You can apply for an Empowerment Grant to waive your vendor fee through the application below
Grants are subject to availability
You will be notified in advance if you are awarded a grant

Food Festival vendor booth size (only vendors cooking on site)

Vendors cooking on site will be in the Food Festival area. You are required to bring your own tables, tents, chairs, table cloth, and extension cords (min 100 ft)

Performance Courtyard and Makers Market booth size

What booth size do you prefer? Preferred size is subject to availability.

Do you require access to power?

Note that you are required to bring your own extension cord. All cords must be taped down to the floor. We will not provide tape. We recommend at least 50 ft cords for indoor/courtyard vendors, and at least 100 ft for Food Festival vendors who are cooking on site.

Will you bring a tent?

We highly recommend tents for food vendors as you will be in direct sunlight. Sand bags/weights are required. Tents are also allowed indoors.

Memorandum of Understanding

1. Purpose: This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) sets forth the terms and understanding between The Peoples Marketplace (TPM) and vendors regarding participation as a vendor at TPM, scheduled to take place on May 25, 2025. 2. Responsibilities of TPM: TPM agrees to: - Provide a designated vendor space. - Ensure adequate security and maintenance of the event premises. - Promote the event through various marketing channels. - Provide logistical support, including access to utilities as agreed. - Maintain communication with vendors regarding event details and updates. 3. Responsibilities of Vendors Vendors agree to: - Pay a vendor fee within 5 days of confirmation. - Set up and dismantle their booth within the specified times. - Ensure that the vendor space is kept clean and tidy during and after the event. - Comply with all local health and safety regulations. - Promote TPM through their own channels as feasible. - Provide any required documentation, such as business licenses or health permits. - Adhere to TPM’s guidelines and policies. 4. Duration: This MOU is effective upon signature by the authorized officials from TPM and vendors and will remain in effect until the conclusion of the event on May 25, 2025. . 5. Termination: Either party may terminate this MOU with written notice to the other party at least 14 days before the event. In the event of termination by vendor any fees paid to TPM will be non-refundable unless otherwise agreed. 6. Modification: This MOU may be amended or modified only by written agreement signed by authorized representatives of both TPM and vendors. 7. Liability: Each party agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the other party from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their participation in TPM, except to the extent caused by the negligence or willful misconduct of the indemnified party. 8. Merchandise that depicts drug or alcohol use, or content deemed sexually explicit or violent by the organizers, is prohibited. Vendors found selling prohibited merchandise will be required to remove the items immediately or may face removal from the event without refund. 9. Community agreement: The Peoples Marketplace (TPM) aims to create a welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment for all. This Community Agreement outlines our shared expectations to ensure a positive experience for everyone. **Inclusivity** We celebrate differences and strive to create an inclusive environment for all, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, age, sexual orientation, ability, or religion. Treat everyone with respect, kindness, and professionalism. **Health and Safety** Vendors must adhere to local health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and hygiene practices. **TPM is an alcohol-free event** The consumption, sale, or distribution of alcohol is not permitted. **Enforcement** Event organizers reserve the right to address issues at their discretion. Violations may result in removal or banning from future events. Legal action may be taken for illegal activities. TPM aims to foster a community spirit that is safe, inclusive, and enjoyable for everyone. Your cooperation in adhering to this Community Agreement is essential.
